I just have to leave a message for the staff and anyone considering a visit- absolute hidden gem, packed with many gems of people! I played a little "secret shopper" to check the place out and fill our planters, and every single worker I asked was happy to take the time to walk around with me and point out exactly what we needed. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful. The selection is LARGE and pristinely organized alphabetically, but no one just pointed to a letter and let me wander aimlessly. They even showed me some secret spring bird hijinks, listened to my plant/life stories, and told me their own. Everyone was totally patient, found answers even if they had to ask someone else, and seemed to genuinely like talking to people! You could definitely make a friend or two being a regular here. This is exactly what the Eastside is supposed to be! And they do have a hefty "native plant" section right at the front. 🌼 🐦

Nice staff, kind service, well organized. I've searched for plant nurseries around Bellevue, and after several visits in person, I really love this place. I brought my first lavender home and look forward to coming back again for Christmas trees.

Ok, this is a little long, but have to share, regarding my time at Wells Medina Nursery yesterday. I had the best time walking around this nursery for over an hour looking for ideas for my yard. They have so many ideas available for all different applications, plant types, location, color schemes and what you want in your garden or want to attract to your garden like hummingbirds and butterflies. The nursery has a great layout and plants are easy to find on the nursery grounds like annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, ground cover, border plants, ferns and succulents. I’m sure I missed several as the list goes on and on. I was even lucky enough to find a ‘Persian Chocolate’ Creeping Jenny for my big front entryway pot. The staff is top notch, very knowledgeable regarding plant choices, colors, grouping and availability. Note: Not all items are available year round like any other nursery. I found out, the Allium I want won’t be in until after mid September, but no worries will returning in the fall to buy some. While talking to one of the staff, she recommended when I come back to bring a sketch of the garden and where and if the sun will hit the area. She said if I’m looking for

They have huge collection of outdoor plants but very limited collection of indoor plants. I personally enjoyed my time buying plants for my home. Staff was quite helpful and cooperative. Prices were good and reasonable. This place is also easily accessible via public transport.

Visited this amazing nursery during COVID so the experience is different than normal operations there. The staff were all very friendly, the COVID policies in place were great from sanitized carts, to 6 feet apart signs posted around the premise and checkout area. The nursery had a great selection from trees, to shrubs, to herbs, to pots, to decorations and more! The price seems higher than other places but worth it for the quality you get here! Highly recommend if you are looking to add new plants to your life and space!
